Winston, Adopted March 2025
When I met my new Dad, Robert, I knew instantly that he was the one! He has a doggie door in his front door and I strolled in and made myself right at home on the couch. We are going to the park, taking walks, and riding in the car, all of my favorite things. He knows all about Westies, I am his 4th boy! XOXO Winnie
Winston’s Original Story: Winston, aka Winnie, is a gorgeous 7 year old male Westie. He came to WROC because his owner was ill and could no longer take care of him. He is very sweet. affectionate, and playful. He loves car rides, walking in the park, and his food. He is currently watching his weight because he weighed in at 25 pounds. He is neutered, shots are current, and he is microchipped.
Maggie Adopted March 2025
Wendy’s affection and dedication to seniors and special needs Westies are a blessing and a true reflection of her exceptional character. Wendy's devotion to WROC alumni Maverick and Peetz & her commitment to their care made this an easy decision to send Maggie home with Wendy. Congrats Wendy & Maggie!
Maggie’s Original Story: This sweet lady lost her human and her home. She was living in an assisted living facility, her health was deteriorating and no one stepped in. so the family contacted us. Maggie is 12 years old and we are treating for her yeast, fungal and bacterial infections. Her ears are infected as well and she has a 4/6 heart murmur. Maggie is very underweight at 14 lbs, but she has gained 2 lbs! She is a very sweet dog that wants to please.
Bear, Adopted March 2025
Bear's rescue journey ultimately brought him to his new home, where he was welcomed by his fabulous new mother, MaryBeth, and sister, Abby. We understood that Bear required a special individual with time to dedicate to him, and he has found that person. Marybeth promised Bear that he never be lonely again.
Bear’s Original Story: Bear is an 8 year old, 15 pound terrier mix. Bear's journey to finding his forever home has been a long road, but today he's feeling healthier and happier than ever! He made his way to WROC after we received a shelter plea that he is in desperate need of veterinary care. He had a large mass protruding from his gums. He was matted, dirty and had overgrown nails. He had surgery to remove the mass & it was benign.

Best wishes in your new life, Oliver. Thanks to Christyne’s loving care, we were able to save this deserving little Westie & find him the best new home ever. And he is up to 14.2 pounds!!

I am looking forward to being the best Westie that I can be. XOXO Jack
