Westie Rescue of OC & Beyond is delighted to show you our 2008 Adopted Westies and some of their Adoptive Families:

Thank you WROC for finding me the best forever home!  I am a very happy Westie!

  • Rascal - Adopted September 2008

Rascal Adopted by Sherry September 2008
Hi everyone!  I made it home!  Living with my new Mom Sherry and little sister Punkey, and chasing crows, squirrels and eat'n good!  Thank you so much WROC. XOXO Rascal

    NOTE FROM MOM SHERRY:

I adopted Rascal last summer.  He came with all of his medical needs attended to and a beautiful hand made collar that was made by his foster dad.  He is so sweet.   He follows me around like a little lamb and has bonded so nicely with my female Westie, Punkey.  After having two together for month, I will never have just one dog again!  They play together beautifully and are much more entertaining to watch than television.  Whenever a question needs to be answered, WROC is just a phone call away.  I thank Kay and Karen for their great service with abandoned and neglected Westies.  They are two very special people.

MACIVER'S ORIGINAL STORYHi there, my name is MacIver, Mack to my friends.  I was found wandering the streets, covered in fleas and ticks when the animal shelter snagged me.  WROC rescued me,cleaned me up, gave me some great new food and a new haircut, but most of all they gave me lots of love which made me very happy.  I am an active, strong, 23 pound, approximately 4 year old Westie.  I love long walks, playing with my toys, and riding in the car.  I am crate, leash, and house trained.  I like being the center of attention, so I would do best as the "only" dog.  Waiting for you with warm westie kisses, MacIver

    ALLIE'S ORIGINAL STORY:

Hi there, my new name is Allie and I am the tiniest and luckiest almost Westie there ever was.

The WROC volunteer walked past my cage in a  very high kill shelter - she looked twice - and then walked on.  Now, mind you I am very cute and I put on my best Westie face and I did a little dance for her.  It must have worked because she came back!  She spoke with the shelter staff and they told her if I was not adopted, the next day would be my last.  I am so grateful for my second chance and I am the best little dog in the world.

I am a 8 pound, 9-12 month old spayed little girl.  I barely survived my spay surgery, but I have a very strong
spirit and WROC nursed me back to health.  Are you my family?  You will be lucky to get a little doll like me!!!   Send in your application.  I am waiting for you.  Love & Westie Wishes, Allie
