I have been adopted by Kristina & Joe. I could not have hoped for a better family. They say I changed their lives and they certainly changed mine for the very best! Mac Love and Kisses to everyone, MacGuyver
MACIVER'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi there, my name is MacIver, Mack to my friends. I was found wandering the streets, covered in fleas and ticks when the animal shelter snagged me. WROC rescued me,cleaned me up, gave me some great new food and a new haircut, but most of all they gave me lots of love which made me very happy. I am an active, strong, 23 pound, approximately 4 year old Westie. I love long walks, playing with my toys, and riding in the car. I am crate, leash, and house trained. I like being the center of attention, so I would do best as the "only" dog. Waiting for you with warm westie kisses, MacIver
NOTE FROM ALLIE'S FAMILY: Dear WROC, Allie has been a blessing for us and we wanted to thank you! She has made our family complete and we are so thankful to have met you. Love from Allie's new family: Mom Lauren, Dad Jonathan, and Yorkie Brother Balin
ALLIE'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi there, my new name is Allie and I am the tiniest and luckiest almost Westie there ever was. The WROC volunteer walked past my cage in a very high kill shelter - she looked twice - and then walked on. Now, mind you I am very cute and I put on my best Westie face and I did a little dance for her. It must have worked because she came back! She spoke with the shelter staff and they told her if I was not adopted, the next day would be my last. I am so grateful for my second chance and I am the best little dog in the world. I am a 8 pound, 9-12 month old spayed little girl. I barely survived my spay surgery, but I have a very strong spirit and WROC nursed me back to health. You will be lucky to get a little doll like me!!! I am waiting for you. Best Westie Wishes, Allie
Yipee, I was adopted by Tom & Bruce, They drove all the way from Arizona just to come see me!! I am so happy in my new home with my new Westie brother Barney. We play and play-life is great. Thank you WROC for my wonderful new life. Westie Kisses, Petey
PETEY'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi there, my name is Petey. I am an 8 year old sweetheart. I was just relinquished by my owner. It makes me really sad, but they did not have time for me anymore. Please give WROC a little time to learn more about my adorable self. In the meantime, I am waiting patiently for my new family...are you it? XOXO Petey
My new name is Ivy and I was adopted by Tom & Pennie. Word must be out in Arizona because they drove all that way to pick me up. You see, I was their Christmas present!! Rosemary, my Westie sister, and I get along just great and I am so very happy. Thank you WROC! Westie Kisses, Ivy
PHOEBE'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi, my new name is Phoebe I am just in from a high kill shelter and am recovering from my spay surgery. I am a small Westie mix - 9 pounds and in need of some good food to fatten me up. I am a very sweet and shy girl, have all my shots and am micro chipped. WROC is taking good care of me and will update my story as soon as they know more. I am a little sweetheart and would love to come home with you. Do you think I could be your Christmas present? XOXO Phoebe
Hi everyone, I was adopted by Regina & Tom. They are coming along very nicely - I have them almost completely trained. I am one very happy Westie princess. Thank you WROC for this most wonderful family. XOXO Mia
MIA'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi there, my new name is Mia. I was rescued from a very high kill shelter by WROC. I had a very long journey to reach my final destination with WROC and was so scared, but with lots of love & good food, my adorable personality is emerging. Thank you Mimi, Karen & Dan for driving all those miles! I am a darling 2 year old, 13 pound spayed, female. I have all my shots and as you can see, I am a cutie pie. I am very sweet and playful. I walk very nicely on a leash and ride great in a car. I use the doggie door and am almost 100% house trained. I had such a hard beginning, but thanks to WROC, I am loving life! Are you the family for me? Better hurry and send your application. I promise to be the best little princess you could ever want. XOXO Mia
My new name is Noel. I was adopted on Christmas eve. Thank you WROC - I love my new life!! XOXO Noel
CHLOE's ORIGINAL STORY: My name is Chloe and I was found wandering the streets when I was nabbed by that Dog Catcher and brought to this high kill shelter. Somehow, I was left to wander without tags or even a microchip. I am a really cute, small little spayed girl. Lucky for me, WROC was able to secure me so I know I will be placed in my forever and loving home. I have all my shots and am microchipped. My love awaits you! I could be your little lap Princess! Love & Westie Wishes, Chloe
My new name is Tanner and I was adopted by Carol & Steve on New Year's Eve day. They drove all the way from Northern California to take me home. I have 2 new Westie brothers, Cooper & Parker and we have a huge yard where we run & play. Thank you for my great new life. Big Kisses, Tanner
REX'S ORIGINAL STORY: Hi, Rex here. I was rescued by WROC from a shelter. I was so matted and dirty that no one recognized me for the handsome Westie that I am. I am a neutered male Westie, about 25 pounds. I was such a mess - the groomer worked on me for hours. My coat is short, but absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Mr. Pet for turning me into the gorgeous boy that I am. I am an active, strong boy - I really enjoy walking, hiking, playing, and running. I would love an active family that gives me lots of exercise. I have all my shots and am microchipped. I would love to yours for the holidays. Are you my forever home? Rex
