Jessica, now Coconut, adopted February 2017
I was adopted by WROC's wonderful previous adopters, Jan & Richard. I am settling very nicely into my new life as the resident Princess. I am so happy with my new life and my new Mom & Dad. XOXO Coconut
JESSICA'S ORIGINAL STORY: I am so lucky, a WROC supporter was volunteering at a shelter when I arrived as a stray. I was bedraggled, flea biiten, eyes infected, and my skin was red and crusty. She knew that the shelter environment was not good for me so she called WROC and they came for me the very next day. I am thriving with WROC. I love to walk and am very good on the leash. Most of all, I love to cuddle next to my people. I will give you a gentle little nudge just so you know I am there. Everyone who meets me thinks that I am so cute and sweet. I am 6-7 years old, 16 pounds, and microchipped. Better send your application soon because I am sure to nudge my way into someone's heart very soon. XOXO Sweet Jessica
Wally, Adopted January 2017
I was adopted by long time Westie owners, Mom & Dad Suzanne & George. I am joining Westies Mesa & Kansas & I am so excited to be a part of this great family. 2017 is the very best year of my life!! XOXO Wally
WALLY'S ORIGINAL STORY: It's going to be a very Merry Christmas for Wally now that he is a WROC dog! Wally has some medical issues that we are addressing such as skin, ear and eye infections. These ailments will resolve in a few weeks now that he is on medication, getting nutritious meals twice a day and daily medicated soft brush baths. He is a little love bug, so sweet and tender, and gets along beautifully with all of our other dogs. He's such a sweetheart now that just think how even more amazing he is going to be when he's feeling better! Wally is approximately 9-10 year old, and currently weighs 13 lbs. He is much too thin for his frame but we will get him to his optimal weight of 18-19 lbs. Merry Christmas Wally! We are so happy you are here!
Billy, now Snow, Adopted January 2017
I was adopted by long time friend of WROC, Jeanne, and she is the perfect new Mom for me. I have come so far from those dark days at the shelter and now my life is filled with happiness and love. I gave her my heart!! XOXO Snow-Billy
BILLY'S ORIGINAL STORY: Poor little Billy was wasting away in a county shelter. He was grey, had mats the size of golf balls, his nails looked like hooks, and his eyes were almost glued shut from discharge. But WROC's volunteer was able to see past all of that and recognize him as a sweet Westie. He did not complain at all as we chopped off the mats, cleaned his eyes and ears, and scrubbed him clean. Billy is approximately 8-9 years old, 19 pounds, neutered, microchipped and his shots are current. He also has sparkling clean teeth from his dental.
Richie, now Ricardo, Adopted January 2017
I have a wonderful new home with Patrick and Sergio and the even better part is I have a new brother, Angelo. We get along famously and I am as happy as any Westie could ever hope to be. XOXO Ricardo aka Richie!!
RICHIE'S ORIGINAL STORY: I am a 1-2 year old, 15 pound, neutered Westie. Somehow I found myself in a San Diego shelter and the staff was nice enough to contact WROC. I am so lucky that WROC has volunteers all of California who are always willing to help. My rescue angel picked me up and the caravan began, landing me in Huntington Beach. I am a very sweet boy and will cuddle right up to you. I am really smart and learned to use to doggie door all on my own. Am I cute or what? Love Richie
